How long is the recruitment and processing time for my recruitment requirements to be filled up?
Answer:

EDI will appoint an Account Manager who will communicate with you directly on overseas recruitment tactics, timelines, and strategies. On average, overseas recruitment job orders are fulfilled in 21-working days.

What is POEA accreditation? What are the required documents for submission?
Answer:

All foreign principals intending to recruit Filipino workers need to appoint a licensed overseas recruitment agency like EDI-Staffbuilders International, to become their overseas recruitment partner. This is a Philippine government policy. Foreign principals shall submit a Special Power of Attorney, Manpower Request Letter, Contingency Plan, Business Registration and Location Map to the POEA. EDI shall provide you with all the templates.

Do you let workers pay processing fee? Do you have salary deductions from workers?

EDI is a no fee-charging company from applicants and workers. We do not collect placement fees nor do salary deductions from workers.

I am interested to work overseas. What is the first step and where do I go?

As an initial step to applying for an overseas job,  it is essential that you come up with a *good resume which will serve as your initial link to your targeted employer. Once you have submitted your resume via our careeleap.edistaffbuilders.com, a consultant in charge will conduct a thorough screening of your qualifications. Then, depending on client's preference, you will be invited to report at the EDI Staffbuilders office for an interview or we will arrange a virtual interview.  Please make sure you submit a comprehensive CV and fully fill-out the online application form so that your overseas job profile is suitablly assessed by our AI system.

This selection process is done to make sure that you fit the overseas job opening, thus, enabling you to land in the right overseas job.

Should you fit the prescribed overseas job profile, you will then be included in the shortlist, which will be sent-off to the client for further review and assessment. Should the client approve the shortlist, a virtual interview or a business visit to the Philippines is arranged and scheduled. Whichever the case, you will be properly informed and guided about the schedule and other important matters.

After the client interview, EDI Staffbuilders will notify you about the interview results as soon as the client makes the hiring decision.

How will I know if my consultant included me in the shortlist?
Answer:

EDI Staffbuilders’ professional and competent consultants will be more than willing to inform you if you indeed made it to the shortlist. Follow up calls may be done two weeks after your consultant’s interview to allow ample time for proper evaluation. Rest assured that all assessments are done objectively and based on merits.

I was not included in the shortlsit. Do I still have a chance to work overseas?
Answer:

YES. Even as you were not considered for the overseas job opening you were interviewed for, there will definitely be other oveases job requirements that will most likely be a suitable job for you. Don’t be disheartened. Take it positively.  You just need to wait for the right overseas job position that would really match your skills and qualifications.

I am one of the shortlisted candidates. The client interviewed me already. How long should I wait for the result?
Answer:

Every client has its own standards and timetable for selecting candidates. One client can make an offer on the very same day that he conducted the interview. Others would take two to four weeks to decide. Whichever the case you are free to call EDI Staffbuilders for a follow up, ideally, between 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM, though it is certain that you will be notified in case there are some developments and / or you are selected. If selected by a foreign principal and I accepted the job offer,
what will I do next?
Answer:

Congratulations! You will now be turned over by your consultant to the in-house documentation and processing team of EDI Staffbuilders known as PDG or Processing and Documentation Group. Upon endorsement to this group, a welcoming PDG representative will brief, orient, and guide you on how to go about the completion of your travel documents. Listed below are some vital information you would need to undergo and comply with:
